Degree Tracks

EEES features two overlapping tracks of scholarship and training. Both tracks contain a core of ecology and ecosystem science, with one track in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EEB), and the other in Sustainability, Ecosystems and Environment (SEE) with an added dimension of environmental social science. Students choose their track in coordination with their Advisory Committee, but we expect them to actively engage in the culture of learning and knowledge creation by the program as a whole. This provides the opportunity for novel interactions across disciplines while also allowing students with specific interests to focus on their core academic area of interests.
