orcidWhen: Tuesday, October 11, 2016,  10:30AM – 2:00PM

ORCiD is an open, non-profit, community-driven organization that provides a unique and persistent identifier to researchers, connecting them with their activities through integration in key research workflows.

Through linkages with other systems, ORCiD improves discoverability and reduces repetitive data entry. Researchers control the privacy of the information displayed in their ORCiD record, and determine what, how, and with whom information is shared.

Distinguish yourself in three easy steps:

  1. Register for an ORCID iD
  2. Connect your iD to your work
  3. Use your iD in grants, publications, datasets and more
