Different civilizations have their own distinctive scriptures, in either writing or oral. When the scriptures were hand-written, they usually present the best calligraphy.
Diamond Sutra (details above) by Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) master Wen Zhengming (1470-1559) is such an example.
