What is Classroom Rapid Refresh?

The Provost’s Advisory Committee on Classrooms has established a program to create a five-year cycle that refreshes and updates all Arts and Sciences and Guarini classrooms. The plan includes up to five classrooms a term on a rolling basis for a refresh of technology and furnishings. The first classroom was refreshed in the summer of 2023. Learn More

Goals

  • Refresh up to 5 classrooms a term.
  • Enable classroom technology and infrastructure updates every 5 years.
  • Deliver uniform experiences across campus based on room type and uses.
  • Implement new baselines for technology and flexibility
  • Support existing uses and desires for classroom spaces while simultaneously extending possible uses.
  • Empower rapid repair and maintenance in teaching and learning spaces.
