Dartmouth EMS offers American Heart Association certification courses in First Aid and CPR. Most of our CPR courses are at the “Heartsaver” level, though we do offer training at the “Healthcare Provider” (Basic Life Support) level for professional rescuers. Our courses are available at a subsidized rate of $15 per course for undergraduate students *(Please note the new price). The cost for graduate students, faculty, staff, and community members is $45 per course. If you would like to sign up for one of our classes, please follow the link below.
We also offer courses for student organizations, community groups, and departments at locations and times of your choice. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a customized course for you at your location in the Upper Valley area.
**Tardiness Policy: If you are more than 10 minutes late to a class your spot may be given away to an unregistered person who was on time for the class. We cover material quickly and being on time to these classes is very important.
A reminder email will be sent the Monday before a weekend class. A second reminder email will be sent on the Thursday before the class (ex: if you are signed up for a class on Saturday April 2nd, you will receive an email on Monday March 28th and a second email on Thursday April 1st). Any cancellation after the second reminder email will invoke our class cancellation policy, as outlined below.
*****Cancellation Policy: Cancellation after the second reminder email or failure to show up to the class without any notice will invoke this policy. If after making one of the above failures you wish to take another class, you will be required to email your DA$H number to Dartmouth EMS in advance and you will be charged for your missed class. If you are a non-Dartmouth student, you will be required to pay for the missed class prior to attending another class. Please contact Dartmouth EMS with any questions regarding this policy.*****
Interested individuals may take the online portion of CPR from the American Heart Association website and complete just the skills section with Dartmouth EMS. If interested in this opportunity, please email us at email@example.com for more information. Additionally, if the course offerings listed below do not work for your schedule, please email Dartmouth EMS with days and times that work well as we will likely be adding more courses as the term progresses.
