I am an Assistant Professor in the Government Department at Dartmouth College. My research interests are primarily in the field of comparative politics, with a focus on elections in Africa’s emerging democracies. My research examines campaign strategy and voter behavior in African countries. I have conducted field work in Kenya, Ghana, Senegal, and Malawi.

Prior to coming to Dartmouth, I completed a Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of California, San Diego, a Master’s degree at Johns Hopkins University / SAIS, and a BA at Oberlin College.
