Language Share – Second Edition – April 15 2014
Learn by doing: experiential language learning
The First Language and Culture Share Fair, organized in April 2013 was an impressive success. More than 40 faculty members across languages and departments attended the event, some presenting their work, others just participating and joining the conversation about language. Our guest speaker, Jamie Rankin, from Princeton University, shared his innovative research on corrective feedback, stimulating reflection on the way we can better address error correction in our classes. It was an energizing event, and by the end of the day, we were already planning our second edition…
…and here we are, with our second Language Share Fair. This year’s theme will be experiential learning in language instruction. Please read the call for paper and send us your idea for a contribution.
The event supported by the Associate Dean for the Arts and Humanities and the Dartmouth Center for the Advancement of Learning.
