Amber Strock is an ’18 from Vermont studying Sociology. She has participated in MAV since 15X and now serves on the executive board as Director of Community Development. MAV leaders aspire to create and maintain an atmosphere of self-care and positive reinforcement. In line with that core principle, Amber celebrates her perseverance and empathy. She feels inspired by the way all MAV members provide a different understanding of the issues surrounding sexual assault and are constantly challenging and developing her own views on the issues MAV addresses. Amber also believes that serving as as MAV executive means being an active member of a group of people that are extremely dedicated to changing the culture on campus. After leaving Dartmouth, she hopes to see MAV increase its outreach.
