Prospective Students

We are currently seeking well-qualified graduate students (for admission into the PhD program) and post docs interested in power electronics and integrated circuits (or combinations thereof). Note that admission is competitive with only a few slots open per year. Dartmouth is a nice place to live - two hours north of boston, three hours from Montreal - and has an energetic and diverse student body. There are opportunities for hiking, skiing, and cultural events. It is also a great environment to learn with outstanding instructional resources, and world class laboratory space.

We have connections with many industry partners and outside academic institutions. We work closely also with Prof. Charles Sullivan, and collectively have prepared graduate students for exciting careers at great companies (Intel, Apple, Tesla, Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, Maxim, Allegro Microsystems, Google, etc...). We are also excited to prepare students for future academic careers. Students interested in entrepreneurial directions may consider the Innovation PhD program which combines innovation/business-minded training with PhD-level research. (note that the innovation program is very competitive and most students tend to come in through the normal PhD admissions process).

If you are interested in applying, please get in touch or apply in the normal admissions cycle (Sept-Dec). Due to the volume of emails and solicitations, I may not get back to every interested candidate, but will do my best!
