The Science Technology and Engineering Policy Society (STEPS) is a student-led organization bringing together graduate and undergraduate students, along with postdoctoral researchers, across disciplines and schools at Dartmouth with a shared interest in science policy. STEPS is a Dickey Center for International Understanding student organization and is recognized by the Graduate Student Council.
Our goals are to:
- Promote dialogue around science policy and related topics,
- Provide resources and promote career development in science policy,
- Educate early-career researchers about the many ways to engage with policy.

Events include a monthly lunch discussion series, happy hour mixers, alumni networking, conference attendance, outreach events, and a wide range of presentations and lectures.
