Research:
Bruce Stanton’s scientific interests include the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying genetic diseases and how environmental toxins, including arsenic, affect lung disease progression and outcome. The objective of his Superfund project is to determine if arsenic, a toxic metalloid, has transgenerational effects on the ability of the immune system to eliminate bacterial and viral lung infections.
