The group participated in a variety of workshops to increase our understanding and engagement with black paris.

 

Our first workshop was the Jazz Workshop. Held at Duc Lombards, a jazz club nestled in the center of Paris, we learned from some of the best jazz musicians like Michelle Hendrix. While at the club, students were able to learn how to scat, rap, sing and perform spoken word. Watch some of the highlights below!

 

Later during the summer, the group wass able to take a 5 day hip-hop workshop where we learned dance techniques and some hip-hop history. Watch the highlights below.
