Arctic Sea House put up its first walls in October, 2024. The co-founders, as graduate students at the Dartmouth Thayer School of Engineering, first bonded over a shared love of community and problem-solving. In the midst of hosting a weekend event for their fellow scholars, and experiencing firsthand the difficulty in refrigerating excess food and beverage, the team began to innovate.
Building off of this momentum, the team enrolled in a human-centered product design and development course. Ideation matured into prototyping and patentable design. Isabelle Anderson
Design Lead
Isabelle Anderson graduated in 2021 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University. She brings with her knowledge and wisdom from multiple years of defense design and manufacturing experience. contributes At Dartmouth, she is pursuing a Master’s of Engineering in Mechanical, Systems, and Operations Engineering.

Felix Hoehner
Electronics Lead
Felix Hoehner graduated in 2024 with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He brings with him relevant insights in control engineering. At Dartmouth, he is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Monica Scotto
Entrepreneurial Lead
Monica Scotto graduated in 2024 with a B.A. in Physics from Bryn Mawr College. At Dartmouth, she is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering. In August, she will join the Berkeley Law Class of 2028 as a prospective intellectual property lawyer.
