January 2025: Emily Chang (’28), Anagh Shula (’28) and Paul Moon (’28) join the lab.
November 5, 2024: Our second song rig (Motown) is assembled and ready to record! Both rigs record audio and video from 96 pairs of flies simultaneously. Motown also has LED lights that can be use either turn on or silence specific neurons using optogenetics.
September 2024: Brooke White (’28) and Tobias Jehn (’28) join the lab!
September 23, 2024: Emily Carson’s first day in the lab!

July 1, 2024: Official opening of the Behrman Lab! The flies and plasmids are on our way to Dartmouth!
March 1, 2024: Emily begins as Visiting Scholar at Dartmouth College. Behrman Lab will officially open in July, 2024!
