COMPETITION

Campus

At the end of every term, DBSO hosts an open, single-elimination tournament for all Dartmouth students. This allows students to assess their skills and become more accustomed to competing under pressure. There are prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, and top finishers are encouraged to join the DBSO intercollegiate team for regional competition. Beyond competition, the end-of-term tournament is also a fun social event for the community of billiards enthusiasts to get together.

Regional

DBSO is also interested in establishing intercollegiate competition against other universities in the Northeast area. DBSO has an official regional team that travels to compete against other schools in the Northeast area. We are a part of the International Collegiate Cues Association, an organization formed in 2024 with multiple other Northeastern schools.
