Library Grand Rounds – Web of Science: What’s in it for Clinicians?

Pamela Bagley and Tom Mead will demo Web of Science and show you:

  • When to use it
  • Its broad scope (12,000 journals; 1900 to the present; Science & Social Science)
  • How it compares to PubMed, Google Scholar, and Summon
  • Finding conference proceedings and creating citation maps
  • Downloading (EndNote, RefWorks, EndNote Web)
  • How to identify:
    •   Where top researchers are publishing
    •   Who is citing your publications
    •   The top researchers & institutions publishing on your topic
