The Value of Librarians in Health Care

jama-logoA new article in the recent issue of JAMA argues that health sciences librarians have an increasingly important role in health care, including being part of patient care teams, becoming embedded into patient safety and quality improvement initiatives, providing patient and family centered information, and managing electronic information resources.
