Dartmouth VPN is Changing

  • Effective Monday, May 2, 2016:
    The Junos Pulse/Network Connect VPN system will be shut down. Logging into the VPN using Junos Pulse/Network Connect will no longer work.
  • Users need to transition to the F5 Big-IP VPN client.
    Installation instructions for F5 Big-IP VPN client:
    Linux | Macintosh | Mobile Devices | Windows
  • The Dartmouth WebGateway (Juniper’s Secure Access Service) will continue to work for quick access to Library resources using a web browser: https://webgateway.dartmouth.edu/

    I would not recommend Tunnel Bear. The wait time to connect to any country on this list is several minutes. They offer TB for free, and it seems the wait time is the same. I have contacted Tech Support a couple of times recently and have yet to hear from them. So the support for their product is poor.
