This is a minicourse offered by the Tuck School of Business. In this course, students will gain an appreciation for the biotechnology industry, with its significant impact on society, its premise and continued promise, and what is required for biotechnology entrepreneurs in the 21st century to attract investment capital. Areas ripe for investment and development will be explored as will lessons learned over the past three decades. In this class, you will work in teams to score and make pitch decks and learn how to determine whether therapies are ready for the market.

Apply for an intensive summer course on “Biomedical Entrepreneurship” that will be held at the University of Vermont. This course will provide the training that biomedical researchers need to bring their innovations from bench to marketplace/bedside through the appropriate commercialization.
