About Us

The Brown Lab, led by Dr. Jeremiah Brown, seeks to leverage Implementation Science methods to advance the translation of clinical care discoveries by bridging the gap between research and practice. Implementation Science seeks to evaluate the effectiveness, utility, and scalability of clinical care interventions through collaboration, transparency, and engagement of key personnel from all levels of healthcare. Using Implementation Science methods, the goal of the Brown Lab is to identify effective interventions that can lead to improvements in patient outcomes, population health or the delivery of healthcare.

To date, most clinical care interventions the Brown Lab focuses on relate to cardiopulmonary and infection outcomes among adults and children. The Brown Lab has extensive experience developing predictive analytics tools using machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing methods.

Dr. Jeremiah Brown is an interdisciplinary health services and implementation science researcher with 15 years+ experience and an established funding history. The Brown Lab is also supported by several full-time staff members, along with students from Dartmouth College’s undergraduate, graduate, and medical programs.
