I’m from Northern Virginia, right outside of Washington DC. I graduated in 2011 with an International Baccalaureate Diploma. I then attended the University of Virginia, majoring in Astronomy-Physics.
I’m currently a second year graduate student in Astronomy at Dartmouth College. My first year I worked on Cataclysmic Variables with Dr. John Thorstensen.
Currently I am working with Dr. Brian Chaboyer on a variety of topics including main sequence fitting of globular clusters, multiple stellar populations in LMC globular clusters, and using RR Lyrae to better constrain the local Hubble Constant.
Other activities I enjoy are playing viola, cooking/eating, and skiing. I know passable Spanish.
Dartmouth College has just started having a new undergraduate house system. I am a Resident Fellow, living with undergraduate students in North Park House, leading intellectual engagement and fostering a sense of community.
