Opening at 100Kin10

100Kin10 is looking for a talented data analyst to provide technical assistance and expertise for new survey results about STEM teaching. As background, 100Kin10 recently distributed the second annual R&D Shared Measures survey, which aggregates deep and comparable data from ~150 different best-in-class partner organizations about their work with STEM teachers, across six stages of a teacher’s professional life cycle (from recruitment to advancement). This is a unique opportunity for anyone seeking a meaningful opportunity to bring deep data skills and education-sector experience to bear on an innovative and field-leading social-sector project. The right person will have significant background in cleaning, managing, and analyzing data. In addition to a technical guru, we’re looking for someone who is a sharp analytical thinker, naturally curious, and passionate about finding meaning in data. Preferably based in NYC, with some flexibility for the right fit. Mid-July start date for four-week project (with possibility to extend). Graduate students with both classroom and real-world data experience are strongly encouraged to apply; education background is a plus. Please email a resume to Grace Clawater Doramus at grace@100Kin10.org. (No cover letter required.)
