What: Postdocs from all fields are invited to present their work, participate in a professional development workshop, network and mingle.
When: Friday December 14, 12pm-6pm

12:30 - 12:45 PM     Welcome talks
12:45 - 2:15 PM       “Improv your leadership skills” by Jake Livengood
2:15 - 2:30 PM         Coffee break
2:30 - 3:30 PM         six short talks
3:30 - 5:00 PM         poster / exhibition session
4:30 PM                    Reception catered by Hanover Inn
5:30 PM                    Awards (bragging rights and prizes!)

“Improv your leadership skills” by Jake Livengood:

Jake partners with graduate students at Tufts Public Health & Professional Degree Programs for career and professional development and has worked in higher education since 2002 as an instructor, career advisor and administrator. He received the MIT Infinite Mile Award for Innovation and Creativity for developing and facilitating improv workshops to help with training and professional development. He is a graduate of the Improv Asylum Training Center in the North End of Boston. With the last name "Livengood," this career path is quite fitting. He has a PhD in Higher Education Leadership, thereby making him Dr. Livengood. (But please call him "Jake"). For more info: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jakelivengood
