Dear Dartmouth,

Since even before George Floyd’s murder on May 25, 2020, countless protesters have gathered in the streets of major cities and communities all across the country. These photographs, taken in Washington D.C. and Bethesda, Maryland, represent only a fraction of the people fighting for justice and equity for Black and Brown lives. In John Lewis’s words, “Get in good trouble, necessary trouble.”

In memory of John Lewis, Rest in Power

Your friend,

Julia
