today i feel calm

calm and nearly complete

completely entranced by you

you yesterday, today, and tomorrow

tomorrow today will be a story

a story marked by a dash in stone or on a box

a box in the ground or on a shelf

where i’ll rest reluctantly with myself

today we’ve circumvented death

today i’m left with no room

no room for doubt with you

all love let out in you

watch as the bees pollinate

the lilies that will celebrate our lives

i want nothing more than to create a life

a life that can feel what i feel today
