Dear Dartmouth,

When I was little, one of my favorite pastimes over the summers was to sit outside on a hammock at the end of the day and draw, sometimes for hours on end. It’s been harder to find that time as I get older, but I was finally able to my Junior winter when I took Drawing I.

I made these pieces thinking back to those summer days—days where I felt fully free to let my mind wander, surrounded by nature, drawing until the sun set and the stars shined. They’re some of my favorite drawings, and I’m happy to be able to share them here. I hope you enjoy!
