Cody Meissner

Cody Meissner, MD, is a faculty member in Pediatrics/Infectious Disease and International Health. Prior to joining the faculty he was a distinguished Professor of Pediatrics at Tufts University School of Medicine and Director, Division of Pediatric Infectious Disease. He has been principal investigator for numerous vaccine clinical trials and was co-director of the Tufts Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC).  He has served as a member of the National Vaccine Advisory Committee, the US Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices for the CDC, and is Chair of the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program for the Department of Health and Human Services.  He is a member of the FDA Vaccine and Related Biologic Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) responsible for advising the Agency on licensure of COVID-19 and other vaccines in development.
