Peter Wright, MD, has conducted national and international studies of HIV, polio, cholera, RSV and influenza vaccines in the US and Haiti, is conducting a current clinical trial at Dartmouth of an innovative polio vaccine, and is collaborating with NIH on development of a new COVID-19 vaccine. He was previously Chair of Pediatric Infectious Disease at Vanderbilt, and is currently Professor of Pediatrics at DH. He has served as Chair of the Polio Research Committee of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative at the World Health Organization. He has been recognized with a Career Achievement Award from Geisel.
