House Professor: Sergi Elizalde

Sergi is an Professor in the Mathematics Department. His research is in the field of combinatorics, and he often supervises graduate students. Sergi lives in the white house at 13 East Wheelock with his wife Helen and their two children Guillem and Julia. Sergi grew up in Barcelona before moving to the US for graduate school in mathematics at MIT. When not doing math or playing with his kids, Sergi likes playing the piano, playing soccer and traveling.

Assistant Director: Josiah Proietti

Josiah Proietti has 13+ years of experience as a professional in Residential Education. He received his Master of Arts in Liberal Studies in 2012 from Dartmouth and takes an academic interest in the socialization of men and masculinities. When he is not in the residence halls, Josiah enjoys serving on the board at Cover Home Repair in White River JCT, serving as Stage Director for the Christmas Revels every solstice, and getting as much time on the Hanover golf course as possible.

Administrative & Data Assistant III: Bonghee L. Lis

Bonghee’s formal education and professional experiences have taken place in various educational institutions and countries, including Egypt, Russia, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Qatar, Kuwait, Germany, and the Lakota Sioux Indian Reservation in South Dakota.  She completed a Bachelor of Cultural Anthropology and Graduate Teaching Certificate in TESL at the State University at Chico, California.  Bonghee has always enjoyed discovering other cultures and has cultivated this passion by studying, residing, working, and traveling abroad.  Her passion for experiencing other cultures is also enhanced by her work as a Korean Language and Culture educator in the Critical Language Program in Korean at Williams College.  Bonghee connects great importance to her hobbies and interests and especially treasures the Art History world — Modern Art and Architecture in particular.  Her philosophy to manage issues related to students is to assist and enable them to make their own decisions and reach goals they have set for themselves.

Emma Templeton

Emma graduated from Harvard in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. There, she was a proud member of Pforzheimer House, the best house at Harvard. Now, she is beyond excited to be a Resident Fellow in East Wheelock, the best house at Dartmouth. As you might guess, Emma loves House community, organizing fun events, and talking to students. Emma is a fifth year PhD student in Psychological and Brain Sciences at Dartmouth. If you see her sitting alone at Foco, please join her! Olivia Shortt

(Anishinaabe – Nipissing First Nation & irish // they/them), Olivia Shortt is a Tkarón (Toronto, Canada)-based performing artist, sound artist, composer, noise-maker, trouble-maker and professional disrupter. Highlights include their Lincoln Center (NYC) debut in 2018, their film debut in Atom Egoyan’s 2019 film ‘Guest of Honour’, & recorded an album two kilometres underground in the SnoLAB (Neutrino Lab). Shortt was a finalist for the 2021 Toronto Arts Foundation Emerging Artist Award, was one of the 2020 Buddies in Bad Times’ Emerging Queer Artists & was featured in the 2020 Winter edition of Musicworks Magazine. Olivia loves cats, coffee and collaborating with exciting humans on projects involving drag, music and theatre among other things. Marietta Saldias Montivero

My name is Marietta Saldias Montivero. I am from Santiago, Chile, but I moved to the US for undergrad. I am a second-year MD/Ph.D. student at Geisel School of Medicine. I am very excited to be one of your Residential Fellows and get to know you! 

Emmanuel Durodola

My name is Emmanuel Durodola. I am a third year graduate student in the physics and Astronomy program. I am a huge sports fanatic (minus baseball and hockey). I am very much looking forward to serving as a resident fellow and getting to know you all!

Vice President: Arly Sosa

Hi, my name is Arly Sosa, I’m a ‘25 from Miami, Florida and the Vice President of the East Wheelock Student Council this year. I’m excited to work and collaborate with everyone in East Wheelock House community by planning fun, engaging, and diverse events. Coming from an arts high school, I have a strong passion for the arts and plan to incorporate this into future events and activities from not only a general concepts stance, but in regards to the social atmosphere as well. I look forward to forming stronger connections with everyone in the community and in working with all of you!
