Mary Lou Guerinot has been elected to the National Academy of Sciences (NAS)!
She is one of 84 new members and 21 foreign associates from 14 countries elected “in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research,” NAS said in its May 3 announcement.

An image of an Arabidopsis leaf zinc heat map produced by the Guerinot Lab was selected as a winner in the 2015 Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) BioArt Competition! The image will be displayed alongside the other winning entries at the National Institutes of Health Visitor Center in 2016.
