“My biggest motivation in life is that I want to become someone I would respect, while also doing well for my parents. I want to be able to look back on my life and say that I’m proud of my actions and that I have left a positive impact on this world.
One thing I live by is that even when bad things happen, good things are coming too. Knowing this, I can pick myself back up and keep going even when I fail or when things don’t work out like I want them to.
My biggest inspiration in life is the curiosity and excitement as to what each day will bring. I have a schedule that I follow religiously on most days, but it is the small encounters with friends at the library or randomly picnicking on the Green on a warm early-spring day that fuels me with happiness and warmth. These small things make me excited for each day and inspire me to go about my day with a smile on my face.
Coming to college, I realized that I was blessed to have the relationships I have with my family and friends back home. And I now realize that I have been blessed with more friendships here at Dartmouth who will stay with me throughout my life.”
