This fall provided a wealth of intellectual stimulation and opportunities to get feedback on numerous projects. In September I talked with audiences in London about European countries’ need to take a leading role in European defense within NATO. I talked with a great audience in Paris (thanks Mathieu Duchâtel!) about my work (co-authored with Mike Mastanduno) on US semiconductor export controls. Then it was off to Norway to resume discussions about the US role in NATO, and greater European strategic autonomy. After a quick trip to Seoul to talk nuclear weapons at the Sejong Institute, it was time to settle down for teaching!
