New Article: Back to Bipolarity

Excited to share my new article in International Security (available ungated here). The article develops a method for comparing national power, validates it using data from historical systems since 1820, and then applies it to assess the current system.

I argue the current system is bipolar. Evaluating current trends in China, I argue that the system will stay that way for some time — and is most likely to shift against with the rise of India.
