A year ago, Pepsi attempted to reach the millennial generation by appealing to their social consciousness. Their commercial starring Kendall Jenner somehow bringing peace to a rally with a single bottle of Pepsi was poorly received, and caused the millennial perception of Pepsi to plummet. Although it has regained its previous status in terms of perception, Pepsi is continuing to lose the millennial purchase consideration.
