Company’s newest marketing strategy is simply to publish nutrition information of competitors

KIND Snacks has set up an online database called "Sweeteners Uncovered", aiming to expose the sugar content and sources of competitors' snack products. The database includes an interactive list of over 100 sources of sugar masquerading under different names, as well as a timeline of KIND's own commitment to transparent nutrition information. The marketing strategy is a particularly strong one in a country where 3/4 of packaged foods and beverages contain either blatant or disguised sugars. Read more here.
