Carl received his doctorate from Cornell and his B.A. from Union College in Schenectady, New York. Carl works with students on an individual basis, presents workshops, road-shows, and mini-courses, and provides coaching for students with ADD. Carl is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Writing and teaches several courses including Writing 5, a first-year writing course and the Learning at Dartmouth course. Jonathan is a junior at Dartmouth College. He is from sunny South Florida and loves the beach. He is currently studying mathematics and economics. Outside of the classroom, he serves as the President of the Love Our Troops Letter Project, a letter writing initiative dedicated to honoring U.S. soldiers. In addition, he rows for Dartmouth's Division I Lightweight Crew Team. Jonathan assists Dr. Thum and serves as an intern with the Academic Skills Center.
Ashley is a graduate student at Dartmouth College currently completing her Master of Arts in Liberal Studies Degree. She works in the Tutor Clearinghouse as a Peer Academic Enrichment Intern. Ashley is passionate about reading, writing, and exploring the world around her.
Liza is a 22’ from Orono, Maine. She is a prospective government major, but also enjoys studying Spanish and history. In her free time she writes for The Dartmouth, and is an active member of the triathlon and Nordic skiing club teams
