The Incubator offers a few opportunities each term for students to learn and contribute to projects related to health service redesign, innovation, and human-centered design in healthcare.
As a member of the Levy Incubator project team, students may participate in any Incubator project activities such as: attending weekly meetings, assisting with the development of project plans, participating in data collection and analysis, conducting literature reviews, engaging with stakeholders, attending faculty workshops, developing and executing a communication plan, drafting education materials, developing and executing an evaluation plan, and developing a business case and final report.
Students may choose what they wish to participate in and their level of involvement.
Students are paid; students typically work 1-4 hours per week, but if their student responsibilities mean they cannot work a week once in a while, that is okay.
The Incubator has hosted the following types of students:
- MD
- MPH
- MD/MBA
- MBA
- Thayer 89/90 and Senior Design Challenge
- Pre-medical Undergraduate
