The Incubator offers a few opportunities each term for students to learn and contribute to projects related to health service redesign, innovation, and human-centered design in healthcare.

As a member of the Levy Incubator project team, students may participate in any Incubator project activities such as: attending weekly meetings, assisting with the development of project plans, participating in data collection and analysis, conducting literature reviews, engaging with stakeholders, attending faculty workshops, developing and executing a communication plan, drafting education materials, developing and executing an evaluation plan, and developing a business case and final report.

Students may choose what they wish to participate in and their level of involvement.

Students are paid; students typically work 1-4 hours per week, but if their student responsibilities mean they cannot work a week once in a while, that is okay.

The Incubator has hosted the following types of students:

  • MD
  • MPH
  • MD/MBA
  • MBA
  • Thayer 89/90 and Senior Design Challenge
  • Pre-medical Undergraduate

See the list of projects that students have been involved with, here.

If you are an undergraduate, graduate, or medical student interested in working with the Levy Health Care Delivery Incubator, please email us at levyincubator@dartmouth.edu.
