Show Your Appreciation for the Honorees

  • Post the list of the employees in your division who are being honored.
  • Publish a ‘kudos’ column in your newsletter, on your website, or via your division or department’s social media channels. Invite the honoree(s) to share with what they have liked most about working at Dartmouth, or what they want to be acknowledged for.
  • Send a personalized thank you note or letter to share your appreciation for the work they do and the impact it has on your division, clients, colleagues, or the broader Dartmouth community.
  • Announce the milestones of your honoree(s) at a staff meeting.
  • Invite other colleagues to share (in writing or video) the talents and attributes the honoree brings to the team or to share a favorite memory or humorous event while working here, etc.
  • Create a “video letter” with Memento or similar software. This free software allows multiple people to contribute a short video, which can be edited by you or the software automatically. Another option is a Group Greeting card that can be signed virtually by many people
