Eligibility

• Proficiency and education in astronomy and astrophysics
• Interest in the environment and environmental protection
• Interest in the outdoors and outdoors recreation
• Participation in a Science Communication workshop on your campus (contact your program faculty member to find opportunities, see below for contact info)

Compensation and Schedule

• 12 week program (Scheduled with AMC summer program offerings)
• Room and Meals provided (valued at over $3000)
• $3000 stipend
• Free use of AMC outdoor gear and facilities

Fill out the online application. The deadline for applications is February 15, 2019.

(Please note that you will need to have a letter of recommendation submitted by an advisor or faculty member as part of the application process.)
