Overview
This is an FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printer, it deposits material in a predetermined path to build up layers in order to create 3D objects. FDM falls into the category of material extrusion which is a type of additive manufacturing technology. In order to print it needs thermoplastic polymers in the form of filament and the 3D object in a .stl file format.
