Call for Proposals
As in previous conferences, we welcome proposals on any Asia-related topic.
One particular theme we would like to explore during this year’s conference is food and beverage in Asia. On the evening of Friday, November 1, our opening events will include a display of food-related Asian art in the new Tseng Family Gallery of Dartmouth’s Hood Museum of Art. In addition, we will have a keynote speech that evening on the topic of Japanese food culture before hosting a reception in the museum’s Atrium area. We especially encourage panel or roundtable proposals related to food or beverage--or both--from a variety of historical and contemporary perspectives.
