Fines for overdue items are minimal except for compact discs, DVDs, VHS and Reserve items. Audiovisual fines are $1.00 per day and Reserve fines are $1.00 per hour with a grace period of a few minutes for the first hour.
We do not accept cash payment of fines in Paddock unless the patron does not have a Dartmouth ID. Student fines are billed to their DA$H account. Patrons without a Dartmouth ID may pay their fines at our desk with the exact amount. We do not have change. Place this amount along with a note telling the patron’s name and date on the circulation supervisor’s desk.
