- Helping students and student organizations in developing responsible and effective leadership through the curation of and dissemination of institutional knowledge.
- Increasing the effectiveness and reach of College activities by ensuring knowledge of the student experience is included in planning.
- Fostering community and understanding between students, staff, and faculty by bridging knowledge gaps of these parties’ experiences.
- Promoting the College’s welfare and protect its good name.

Each year, Palaeopitus delegates are selected by the previous delegation based on their demonstrated dedication to Dartmouth. Our delegates are leaders from every corner of campus, and we capitalize on that collective experience to aid our fellow leaders at the College, including staff and faculty.
