A large foam board disk , with a spiral drawn on it, is mounted at the front center of the room, oriented so that students on one side of the room see it rotating clockwise, while students on the other side of the room see it rotating counter-clockwise. Introduce the right hand rule to define the direction in which angular velocity points.
