5K10.20 Lenz’s Law, Induction by Moving a Bar Magnet Through a Coil

This demo can be done several different ways, using different equipment. In addition to moving the bar magnet through the coil, the coil can be moved while the magnet is held stationary. One can also flip the coil over while near one end of the magnet.

Using the equipment below is the most common way to do this demo:
