We have a gieger counter and a variety of samples. Cesium seems to be the most active of what we have. In addition to a few sealed sources we have a small bit of uranium "yellow cake." One can hear the increased counts as you move the tube near a sample.
Setup: Place a microphone (one of the lapel mics works well) near the front left side of the geiger counter as the speaker is underneath, and on that corner.
