Planning Office Acquires GPS

Working with Waypoint Technology Group we have acquired and been trained in the use of a Trimble Geo7x with GIS Tornado Antenna. We will be using our new GPS to improve the quality of GIS data around campus.  We look forward to working closely with Engineering Services and Utilities Management departments.

Nano Apartments @ UBC

The University of British Columbia in Vancouver unveiled its plans to develop micro-apartments.  The 140-square foot Nano Studio is a means to address an affordable student housing shortage. Check out the  floor plans. The double bed folds up to create a desk.
