  1. “Amor em 4 Atos” is an excellent miniseries. The story was inspired by Chico Buraque’s songs. It’s really interesting seeing how the writers interpreted Chico’s music into story lines. The episodes follow a different relationship and the conflicts that come from love and life. It’s truly an experience to see Chico’s music come to life in modern day Brazil.

  2. Using songs written by Chico Buarque de Hollanda as its inspiration, Amor em 4 atos does a phenomenal job of creating an engaging plot out of little more than four different compositions. While the stories it presents are occasionally somewhat mundane, if not uninspiring, the way its directors manage to integrate the text of Buarque’s songs into the storyline is quite impressive.

  3. “Amor em 4 atos” is a mini-series that was inspired by the songs of Brazilian singer Chico Buarque. I enjoyed comparing and contrasting the songs to the storyline of the mini-series. The dialogue in the mini-series is easy to understand and the topics of seduction, love as well as deceit are also interesting.

  4. Amor em 4 Atos is an intriguing minisserie. Each episode is inspired by a different song of Chico Buarque and what is most interesting is seeing how each different director interprets and incorporates the meaning and lyrics of the song into the episode. I didn’t love one episode out of the four, but I definitely recommend watching.

  5. Four songs by iconic Brazilian singer Chico Buarque serve as the inspiration for this micro-series. Each of the series’ four episodes depict a story related to the overarching theme of love, with characters and plotlines inspired by just one Buarque song. The director’s interpretation of lyrics on the screen is especially interesting for those familiar with Buarque’s work. The setting for the entire series is São Paulo, which provides the viewer a beautiful way to identify connections between each story. Overall, Amor em Quatro Atos provides a light-hearted, entertaining look at love and the different forms it takes.

  6. Watching “Amor em 4 atos” was very interesting. Seeing as the miniseries used four of Chico Buarque’s song it was interesting to see how the transmutation from song to miniseries worked out. The way in which the directors incorporated certain aspects of the songs and Chico’s life was inspiring. Whether you’re a Buarque fan or not, I recommend watching.
