This year, from March 21-28, the team traveled to the San Francisco Bay Area again for our annual week-long training trip. Many families were visited, tons of food was consumed, and LOTS and LOTS of polo was played (11 practices worth, in fact!).
Over the course of the week, we had an awesome time hiking the Stanford Dish, exploring downtown San Francisco, seeing a movie, and visiting Stinson Beach, and sharing meals with the Flessels, the Bigleys, the Christies, the Donahoes, and the Wenzels. We practiced at PJ, Cat, and Katherine's alma mater, Sacred Heart Prep and at Alpine Hills athletic club, and we also had the chance to scrimmage against Meghan's old team at Sir Francis Drake.
After a week of sun, sand, and lots and lots of water, we returned to "spring" in Hanover sore, tired, and mildly sunburnt, but happy to be all back together and ready to take on the rest of our season.
Thank you so much to everyone who made this trip possible. A special thanks goes out to the Donahoes, who generously hosted us for the entire week and helped provide us with enough food to feed a small army (or the Dartmouth Women's Water Polo Team!), every family who cooked or brought us out to dinner, and all those who loaned us cars to use for the entire week.
I think we would all agree that TT2015 was a success this year, and here are some pictures to show for it!
