The Nelson A. Rockefeller Center at Dartmouth is a catalyst for teaching, research, and educational programs in the social sciences and public policy. Through interdisciplinary research seminars, workshops, and conferences; grants; student internships; civic skills and leadership training; discussion groups; and public lectures; the Center enhances knowledge of domestic and international policy issues and prepares students for lives of leadership and service in a diverse and globally interdependent world.

The Center coordinates the Minor in Public Policy, which is open to students from all majors who seek a coherent program of study in the field of public policy. It also administers an undergraduate Policy Research Shop and an exchange program for government and economics majors between Dartmouth and Keble College at Oxford University.
